Reigate and Redhill Choral Society Soloists

A glance through some of the artists who have performed with us in the past is enough to inspire a large number of professional musicians to polish up their CV. We receive a substantial number of speculative applications each season, and whilst we welcome such applications in our search for new talent, we would ask all applicants to read the following information carefully before contacting us.

All prospective applicants

Please ensure that all CVs are submitted in Word format, rather than AmiPro, WordPerfect or any other application. We strongly recommend that everything you send is thoroughly proof-read before submission: what conclusions are we likely to draw about someone who can't get our music director's name right, or who makes spelling mistakes in composers' names?

Please be realistic about the size of document(s) you send us. With increasingly large volumes of correspondence we are unable to wait for large photo and mp3 file downloads.

If you have created a website to promote yourself, please ensure that your site works irrespective of the browser or operating system used.

Soloists

Soloists are booked for engagements several months (anything up to a year) in advance. Due to the number of applications we receive, we are unable to contact you to advise if your application has been unsuccessful, but will of course be in touch if we wish to arrange an audition.

Orchestral musicians

Our main orchedstra is Surrey ProMusica, a professional instrumental ensemble formed in 2000 and managed by Reigate and Redhill Choral Society. Immense flexibility enables the performance of both choral accompaniments and instrumental repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day, in an infinite variety of different size and instrumental combinations.

Music director and/or accompanist

The posts of music director and rehearsal accompanist are not currently vacant. Should vacancies occur, they will be advertised on this site and elsewhere.
