Welcome to the RRCS Members' homepage!

Whilst this part of the site is aimed primarily at members of Reigate and Redhill Choral Society, we hope that there will be something of interest if you haven't yet joined us. The rehearsal schedule is available, and checking it regularly is a good habit to develop. It's more than just a list of rehearsal dates - the concert protocol, maps to unfamiliar venues and much more are often posted here too. Another good habit to form is regularly visiting the page of corrections to music. We have also reproduced Peter's vocal advice from the Summer 2003 newsletter, which contains some very useful tips on vocal health and becoming a better singer. There is also a list of who's who in RRCS, as well as other sites which you may find useful or entertaining. The Society's constitution is available as a web page, and the current members' handbook and our business plan are also published on this site as Word documents.

As we sometimes sing in languages other than English, we are developing a series of text translations, and a masterlist of the available texts is on the translations page.

| wouldn't be at all surprised if the 2008/09 season includes some hemiolas, so do your hemiola homework by reading the article from the February 2004 newsletter.

The Spring newsletter is now available on the site as a Word document - perfect reading for the dull gap between rehearsals!

If there is important, useful or urgent information to communicate to members between rehearsals, we try to do this by e-mail. If you haven't yet received such an e-mail, simply send Deborah an e-mail including your e-mail address, or speak to her at the next rehearsal, and your name will be added to the list.

What's new for members?

• 2nd July 2008: General update to the Members' part of the site now that the 2007/08 season has finished; details of the Summer Barbecue published.
• 3rd June 2008: There have been a few minor amendments to the protocol sheet for the summer concert, so if you've printed one off between 31st May and today, please print a copy of the updated version to ensure that you are in the right place at the right time on concert day (Note, link removed 2nd July as protocol no longer available).
• 31st May 2008: A Word document version of the protocol sheet for the summer concert is now available (Note, link removed 2nd July as protocol no longer available).
• 7th May 2008: A few post-tour updates, including the creation of the Rouen 2008 page.
• 30th April 2008: Update to the rehearsal schedule page with important notes regarding venues for rehearsals on 2nd and 13th May.
• 1st April 2008: A Word document version of the procotol sheet for this month's concert is now available (Note, link removed 2nd July as protocol no longer available).
• 25th March 2008: Another update to the misprints page, this time in Tallis rather than Poulenc.
