Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. Te decet hymnus, Deus, in Sion, et tibi reddetur votum in Jerusalem. Exaudi orationem meam, ad te omnis caro veniet.
Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and may eternal light shine upon them. You, O God, are praised in Sion, and unto you shall the vow be performed in Jerusalem. Hear my prayer, unto You shall all flesh come.

Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy.

Dies irae, dies illa, solvet saeclum in favilla, teste David cum Sybilla. Quantus tremor est futurus quando judex est venturus cuncta stricte discussurus.
That day of wrath will dissolve the earth in ashes, as David and the Sybil bear witness. What fear there will be when the judge shall come to judge all things strictly.

Tuba mirum spargens sonum per sepulchra regionum, coget omnes ante thronum. Mors stupebit et natura cum resurget creatura judicanti responsura. Liber scriptus proferetur in quo totum continetur, unde mundus judicetur. Judex ergo com sedebit quidquid latet apparebit; nil inultum remanebit. Quid sum, miser tunc dicturus? Quem patronum rogaturus, cum vix justus sit securus?
A trumpet will spread a wondrous sound through the graves, driving all before the throne. Death and nature will be astonished when all creation rises to answer the judge. A book will be brought forth, in which is written everything, from which the world will be judged. Therefore, when the judge takes his seat, whatever his hidden will be revealed; nothing will remain unavenged. What then shall I say, wretched as I am? Who will speak for me when even the righteous are not safe?

Rex tremendae Majestatis, qui salvandos salvas gratis, salva me, fons pietatis.
King of dreadful majesty, who freely saves the redeemed, save me, o fount of goodness.

Recordare, Jesu pie, quod sum causa tuae viae; ne me perdas illa die. Quaerens me sedisti lassus, redemisti crucem passus; tantus labor non sit cassus. Juste judex ultionis, donum fac remissionis ante diem rationis. Ingemisco tamquam reus, culpa rubet vultus meus, supplicanti parce, Deus. Qui Mariam absilvisti et latronem exaudisti, mihi quoque spem dedisti. Preces meae non sunt dignae, sed tu bonus fac benigne, ne perenni cremer igne. Inter oves locum praesta, et ab baedis me sequestra, statuens in parte dextra.
Remember, merciful Jesus, that I am the cause of your journey; do not forget me on that day. Seeking me, You did sit down, You redeemed me, suffering death on the cross; let not such a task be in vain. Just and avenging judge, grant remission before the day of reckoning. I groan like a guilty man, guilt reddents my face, spare a supplicant, O God. You, who absolved Mary and heard the thief, have given me hope. My prayers are not worthy, but grant, in your merciful goodness, that I will not burn in the eternal fire. Place me among the sheep, and separate me from the goats, placing me at your right hand.

Confutatis maledictis flammis acribus addictis, voca me cum benedictis. Oro supplex et acclinis, cor contritum quasi cinis; cere curam mei finis.
When the accursed have been confounded and condemned to bitter flames, call me with the blessed. Kneeling, I pray in supplication, my heart as contrite as dust; safeguard my fate.

Lacrymosa dies illa qua resurget ex favilla judicandus homo reus. Huic ergo parce, Deus, Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem.
Tearful will be the day when guilty man will rise from the grave to be judged. Spare him, O God, merciful Lord Jesus, grant them rest.

Domine Jesu Christe, Rex gloriae, libera animas omnium fidelium defunctorum de poenis inferni, et de profundo lacu: libera eas de ore leonis, ne absorbeat eas tartarus, ne cadant in obscurum, sed signifer sanctus Michael repraesentet eas in lucem sanctam, quam olim Abrahae promisisti et semini ejus.
Lord Jesus Christ, King of glory, deliver the souls of all the faithful departed from the pains of hell and from the bottomless pit: deliver them from the jaws of the lion, let not the darkness or the black abyss swallow them up. Let Saint Michael, your standard-bearer, lead them into the holy light which you have promised to Abraham and his seed.

Hostias et preces tibi, Domine, laudis offerimus; tu suscipe pro animabus illis, quarum hodie memoriam facimus. Fac eas, Domine, de morte transire ad vitam, quam olim Abrahae promisisti et semini ejus.
We offer you, Lord, this sacrifice of prayer and praise. Receive for those sould who we remember today. Let the cross, O Lord, from death to life, as you promised to Abraham and his seed.
